Carficionado has always been a matter of heart and passion for the founder, not just simply a business venture.

The appreciation for fine motorcars in his family for generations was the starting point when Mr. Seidl founded the precursor of today‘s venture together with a friend in 2003. The passion for exceptional vehicles was with him already years before the official launch of the company, which lead to rediscovering, restoring and trading of rare cars for his own collection and gaining an in-depth view of this industry.

Own experiences of inefficiencies in the high-end car collector‘s world triggered a quite unique approach:
The core of the business is to deliver independently full-service for sophisticated international clients. Then new to the classic car scene, the concept of being independent advising, based on own expert know-how soon became a searched for service in today‘s collector‘s car and investment market.

Further Mr. Seidl is the organizer of hill climb Bernina GranTurismo in St.Moritz/Switzerland, selection committee member and judge at international high-end events and member of the Club 1000 Miglia Franco Marzotti.
